There's a lot to be said about following your passion. For D.J. his long-time goal of being a Marine is coming true. Make no mistake: It hasn't been easy. D.J. has worked strategically and diligently to meet this goal since he was about seven years old. He has maintained superb grades in school.
D.J. has been a member of law enforcement's Explorer Scouts for many years. He has been to three nationwide Explorer Scout Academy training courses; the last one being held in Atlanta, Georgia. During high school D.J. enrolled in college courses to ensure enough credits to graduate early.
